Annemiek Willems MRCVS (known as Miek)

I was born and raised in a small village in the East of Holland and then moved to Utrecht to attend University. I studied Medical Biology for 3 ½ years and then Veterinary Medicine for another 6 years. I specialised in the large animal field.
For the past 18 months I've worked as a vet in India and enjoyed the tropical climate and the delicious food. I brought my rescued dog Sammie from back from India who is now - together with my cat Pim- in Holland awaiting quarantine procedures to get over and join me in the UK.
In my spare time you'll find me socializing with my friends, on the hockey field, the ski-slope, exploring the countryside and desperately trying to keep my rusty 2CV on the road.
