Nurses News
Following the decision of our head nurse to leave after 14 years to pursue other interests and after a selection process within the practice we have appointed Ray Male as our Head Nurse. Ray will be known to most of you and has tackled his new role with characteristic enthusiasm and a welter of new ideas. We are always keen to expand the invaluable work carried out by our nurses and their clinics are an important part of the daily routine. Louise who has strong interests in exotic species particularly reptiles, is about to embark on a further qualification in nursing of and caring for the increasing number of strange and wonderful creatures that come through our doors for treatment. Sophie Baser started her training with a practice in Plymouth and has come to us to complete the second year of her training with us and is currently working hard at both Duchy college and at the practice to finish her level 3. Natasha Prior has come back to us having been here for most of 2010 as a student and we are now very happy to welcome her back as a permanent member of the nursing team. |
