Welcome to the web site for Gabriel, Grills & Associates based at the Filham Park Veterinary Clinic. We are a four vet practice operating from purpose built premises in Ivybridge, in the beautiful country side of the South Hams of Devon . The small animal and equine units provide wonderful facilities on the edge of town, with excellent parking facilities. The unit also offers a complete service for farm around the area. The practice is within a few minutes drive of the A38 giving rapid access to homes, farms and other establishments across the South Hams.

Canine Arthritis Evening Thursday 24th June at 7:30?

We are very pleased to host an evening meeting for dog owners about arthritis in dogs. This will take place on Thursday 24th of June at 7:30 at the Ivybridge Rugby Club, followed by a light buffet and chance to talk and mingle.
Helen Langman a veterinary surgeon from the pharmaceutical company Novartis will give an overview on “What is Arthritis?” This will help us understand what some of the underlying causes of arthritis are and what we can do to try and prevent its occurrence.
Clare Rodney a veterinary surgeon from the Royal Canin food company will be talking about the importance of a good quality food and how certain nutrients within the food can help prevent damage and also help to improve the quality of cartilage in the joints.
Helen Langman will then talk about how we can control pain in dogs who have arthritis in order to try and maintain their mobility and a good quality of life.
